A competition study in commercial and hospitality space
The Narrow Gates · February 2023 · Competition proposal
Developed in collaboration with Panoptyc, The Narrow Gates is presented through a sequence of concept studies, diagrams, and architectural visualizations. The work explores the relationship between a low horizontal building, a series of framed entrances, and the planted public realm around it.
The presentation moves between the overall organisation of the proposal and the experience of its edges: gateways, shaded approaches, gathering spaces, and the transition into the building. The drawings and images below preserve the original competition presentation so that the design can be read as a process as well as a finished image.
